PPT4229.  Bryden Pairpoint 1972 Crimp rose pedestal paperweight.   Production on this crimp rose started in 1972 and consequently has an extra row of petals.   The early roses were made with this extra row only for a short while as the outer row of petals were deleted from future production.  Engraved in the vintage patten retains the original Pairpoint paper label as well as an L.H. Selman auction paper label.   Signed with a “P” signature cane and scratch dated “1972”, and numbered “48”.  3 1/4” diameter, 4 1/4” tall.
